Pricing FAQ

Do I pay again next year?
No. Blipcal is a one-time purchase. Every purchase includes one year of free updates, and after that the version you have keeps working for as long as you like. A later major version may be a paid upgrade, with a discount for owners.
How many Macs does one license cover?
Up to two Macs. Move it any time: deactivate one Mac in Settings under License and activate the new one. How to move a license.
Is there a student or team price?
Not yet. For five or more licenses, email support@blipcal.com and we will sort something out.
Which macOS versions does it run on?
macOS 14 Sonoma and later, with every feature, on Macs with Apple silicon. Intel Macs are not supported.
Can I try it first?
Yes. The trial is 14 days with every feature, no card and no account. When it ends, the month grid, today's date in the menu bar and keyboard navigation keep working free; the rest asks for a license.
What about Intel Macs?
Blipcal is built for Apple silicon (M1 and later) and does not run on Intel Macs. Itsycal's 0.15.15 build and Dot do (checked 6 November 2026).
How does the $14 launch price work?
Until 30 November (23:59 UK time) the code BLIPLAUNCH takes $5 off, so you pay $14 instead of $19. The Buy button applies it for you at checkout. The license is the same: two Macs, one year of updates.
What if I buy on the App Store later?
Blipcal is sold direct only, so there is no App Store copy to buy twice. Your license key is yours, works offline after activation, and can be moved between your Macs.
Who handles payment, tax and receipts?
Payment is processed securely by Stripe, which emails you a receipt. The price is $19 (USD), one time, including any applicable taxes. Blipcal is sold by Josh Snoddy, trading as Blipcal, in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom.
